About Us - Sourcing

With a client portfolio representing a total food spend in excess of £330m across more than 200 nominated food suppliers in the UK; we have extensive knowledge of and expertise in the UK food supply chain.

During the last 16 years we have nutured and developed a comprehensive network of suppliers for all the major food commodities, including organisations ranging from multinational operations to small independent regional suppliers. The majority of these we have worked with closely for over 15 years, ensuring that PSL clients receive the best possible service and full access to the senior management of all their suppliers.

Our list of approved suppliers is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that the highest service, quality and lowest prices are achieved and competition flourishes. A full list of all PSL nominated suppliers is available on request.

Our team of purchasing specialists are able to design solutions including local direct sourcing, wholesale distribution, composite delivery and central distribution or indeed any combination of these. Additionally the implementation and maintenance of supply chain solutions is supported by our nationwide team of operational staff.
